Four people were hit Saturday
night at the intersection of Duckpond
Drive and Washington Street.
Police say at the time of the
crash, another car was seen leaving a
parking lot at the intersection.
The Washington Post reports
the driver of that car ran a stop sign
and may have forced the car driven by
20 year old Joshua Sales into the
pedestrians.
Investigators have not located
the other car or driver.
It was last seen going east on
Washington and is described as a dark
colored sedan.
Christine McNabb from Manassas
died from her injuries.
Daniel Budzenski is still in the
hospital.
GRAPHIC=NONE Sales is charged with driving
without insurance and having an expired
registration.
Police say more charges are
possible.

AGREEING TO THIS- -BUT PERHAPS TWO CARS
WERE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE UNFORTUNATE
DEATH OF THE GENTLEMAN WHO DIED. AND
THE SITUATION THAT MAY CAUSE US TO GO
TO TRIAL IN THIS CASE, IS IF SOMEBODY
TRIES TO BLAME THE OTHER ONE FOR THE
CAUSE OF THE DEATH. I THINK THE
INVESTIGATION AT THE SCENE IS GOING TO
MAKE A WHOLE LOT OF DIFFERENCE ABOUT
THAT.>>

The other suspect: Tracie
Nininger had a point-1-9 blood/alcohol
level...which is more than two times
the legal limit.
Dupree refused to take a breath
test last Wednesday.
He told his attorney he declined,
after being disoriented by the force of
the collision and the air bag going
off.
