Clinton described Monday night's
star-studded town hall meeting in
Austin
where she hoped to convince Texans to
not only vote for her, but also caucus.
(SOT: Senator Hillary
Clinton/Democratic Presidential
Candidate)
TBA
Earlier Monday, she told reporters in
Ohio she's just getting warmed
up...ready to move onto Pennsylvania.
(VIDEO OF COMMERCIAL FROM HILLARY
CLINTON FOR PRESIDENT CAMPAIGN)
Her campaign says that shot of
confidence is a direct result of this 3
in the
morning phone call commercial (nat of
ringing) that hit the airwaves last
week.
Clinton senior aids say it's slowing
Senator Barack Obama's momentum.
(VIDEO OF COMMERCIAL PROVIDED BY BARACK
OBAMA FOR PRESIDNENT CAMPAIGN)
Obama answered with a phone call
commercial of his own and even
presumptive
Republican nominee John McCain hears
the ringing.
(SOT: Senator John McCain/Republican
Presidential Candidate)
16:28:00 "I'm certainly the most
experienced and qualified to answer
that
phone and act in America's best
national security interests."
(Stand-up Bridge: Dan Ronan/CBS
News/Dallas, Texas)
"The question remains, can that phone
call keep Clinton in the race? She's
trailing in delegates, she's lost 11
contests in a row. And while she's
holding onto a slim lead in Ohio, her
longstanding lead here in Texas has
dried up."
It's not been a ride into the sunset
for Obama. He tried to distance
himself
Monday from real estate developer Tony
Rezko, whose fraud trial has just
begun.
(VIDEO OF COMMERCIAL PROVIDED BY BARACK
OBAMA FOR PRESIDNENT CAMPAIGN)
But polls show he'll clinch a majority
of the latino and African American
votes, and he reminded reporters the
numbers that don't lie.
(SOT: Senator Barack Obama/Democratic
Presidential Candidate)
15:23:02 "We've won states and we've
won delegates."
And if he keeps his lead Tuesday night,
political insiders say Clinton will
start feeling the pressure to step
aside and let the party unite behind
one
candidate. In Dallas, Dan Ronan for

APRISA WEATHER MINI OPEN
<< Good evening, I'm meteorologist
Robin Reed in the SkyTracker7 Forecast
Center. Clouds increase tonight as
we await our next weather system
Tuesday. Look for very temperatures
overnight and Tuesday as warm air
surges northward. A front and low
pressure will move across the area late
Tuesday afternoon and evening, bringing
abundant moisture and even
thunderstorms. As cold air get wrapped
into the storm aloft, the threat of
severe weather increases. Here's the
breakdown of what we might expect:
Heavy, tropical-like downpours (.50 to
1.00" average amount), Flash flooding,
Straight line winds (damaging winds),
Hail. SEVERE WEATHER TIMING: Late
afternoon (4pm) through late evening
(11pm) would be the greatest severe
threat. This would put severe weather
in here during and after sunset. Severe
threat will be reduced if low
strengthens along the Gulf Coast
states. This scenario would steal some
of our storms keep much of the severe
threat south of us. With that said, the
latest models indicate severe weather
will be possible For weather anytime
