Of the four contests - Texas and Ohio
are crucial. She's GOT to win at least

one of them - another Obama sweep would
be disastrous.

And she's sticking to her guns -
hammering home her core message....that
she's

substance and he's all style, that
she's got solutions, and he just gives

speeches.

ABOUT WHAT WE'RE ACTUALLY GONNA DO...TO

TRANSLATE RHETORIC INTO REALITY AND
PROMISES INTO PLANS."

(nats - handout "Clinton '08" campaign
ad - 3 AM phone ringing at WH)

Until recently, the race had been
dominated by the economy. But Clinton
has

looked to sharpen the contrast between
them by jabbing Obama on national

security.

It's a charge Obama flatly
dismisses....pointing to her vote for
war as the

ultimate proof of who's ready and who's
not.

(SOT BARACK OBAMA): "WE'RE STILL

WAITING TO HEAR SENATOR CLINTON TELL US
WHAT

PRECISE FOREIGN POLICY EXPERIENCE THAT
SHE IS CLAIMING - THAT MAKES HER

PREPARED TO ANSWER THAT PHONE CALL AT 3
O'CLOCK IN THE MORNING."

Without a strong showing tomorrow, the
pressure will build on the Former First

Lady to drop out....She got a hint of
it yesterday from a former rival.

(SOT GOV. BILL RICHARDON/D-NM courtesy

CBS News 'Face the Nation'): "I JUST

THINK THAT D-DAY IS TUESDAY. WE HAVE
TO HAVE A POSITIVE CAMPAIGN AFTER

TUESDAY. WHOEVER HAS THE MOST
DELEGATES AFTER TUESDAY - A CLEAR LEAD
- SHOULD

BE, IN MY JUDGMENT, THE NOMINEE."

of their day in Texas...they've got

events planned well into the night.

Regular, low-intensity workouts like

Researchers found starting out slowly

much too quickly, especially after

The F-D-A is re-thinking the way it
warns the public about safety concerns
with foods and drugs.

The agency usually relies on internet
announcements and the media to spread
the message, but now they're
considering other - more direct - ways
to get the word out.

(wipevo)

Experts warn hormone replacement
therapy can throw off breast cancer
diagnosis.

Women who use the drugs have only a
slightly higher risk of the disease but
a much greater chance of abnormal

Doctors have generally urged women
opting for hormone therapy to use it at
the lowest effective dose for the

shortest possible time.

vo: The Iranian president called his
arrival here the opening of a new
chapter in "brotherly relations".

And Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was giving out
more than hugs and handshakes.

Even before his visit to Iraq...it was

announced it would include signing
several trade agreements to go along
with a one billion dollar loan for
reconstruction projects here.

(Meeting Talibani/security)

vo: In contrast to visiting American
VIPs who meet Iraqi leaders in the
Green Zone...Ahmadinejad went to
President Jalal Talibani's office
outside the protected area.

Iraqi forces provided the security for
what U.S. officials called "a very
important visit" by a head of state to
this "sovereign country".

(SOT Admiral Greg Smith, U.S. military

"And we hope that it produces real
tangible results in a positive way."

rebuttal of charges by the U.S.

military that Iran has supplied lethal
roadside bombs to insurgents here.

NAT SOT Farsi

vo: "We tell Mr. Bush that accusing
others without evidence will increase
the problems in the
region"...Ahmadinejad said..."and will
not solve them."

o/c: The high-profile visit is seen as
Iran's way of underscoring its
influence here...making the point that
even with more than 140,000 troops on
the ground...the U.S. cannot do
whatever it likes in Iraq.

(Ahmadinejad at Haj/Various
visits/Iran-Iraq war file)

vo: The Iranian leader has been on
something of a regional blitz in recent
months...becoming the first Iranian
leader to make the traditional Haj
pilgrimage to Mecca...and rebuilding
relations with an Arab world still
deeply mistrustful of Persian Iran.

(Handshakes/kisses)

vo: "Brotherly love" may be overstating
the case...but it does seem that while
old enmities may not be buried...they
are being shoved out of sight...perhaps
at American expense.

February 2007 The idea is to educate the public
about fraudulent schemes and to provide
consumers with information.

They also want to arm them the
tools to combat scams.

In addition to literature, a DVD
will be available on avoiding fake
check fraud.

A number of agencies will be on
hand to assist people... the BBB, the
Virginia Attorney General's Office, the
League of Older Americans, Postal
Inspection Service, and Roanoke City
and County Police.

It's essentially a one-stop
consumer education opportunity.

The national average looms at
3-16 a gallon for regular. In
Virginia-- the average is 3-11.

The reason for the surge?

Rising crude oil prices since the
beginning of the year.. coupled with a
normal increase in prices when
refineries switch from winter to summer
gas blends.

Consumers aren't the only ones
feeling the pinch. Companies like
U-Haul also find themselves digging
deeper in their pockets when people

don't fill the tank at the end of their
use.
