CK-TITAN RADAR ANALYSIS *CG 304

<< Good evening, I'm meteorologist
Robin Reed in the SkyTracker7 Forecast
Center. High pressure will keep the
region in a bit of a holding pattern,
with clearing skies and chilly
overnight lows. As high pressure moves
into the Atlantic, a southerly push of
warmer temperatures will arrive,
pushing highs to around 60 with
sunshine and light winds Thursday. A
series of disturbances along a cold
front bring our next rain chance on
Friday. Looks like showers will
approach SW Virginia during the
afternoon and continue off and on into
early Saturday. If you're making plans,
by Saturday afternoon, any rain should
be gone. Temperature will take a bit
of a cut. By Saturday and Sunday, highs
only manage mid 40s with lows in the
20s. Despite the cooler numbers, look
for a return of bright sunshine by

Sunday afternoon. The cooler weather
doesn't stay around for long. Highs
will return to near-normal by Monday,
and above normal by the middle of next
week. HEADS-UP: Remember to turn your
clocks FORWARD (Spring Forward) ONE
HOUR this Saturday nighttime (before
bedtime) for Daylight Saving Time.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT: Turning clear and
chilly. Low: 33 THURSDAY: Partly to
mostly sunny. High: 61 THURSDAY NIGHT:
Increasing clouds. Low: 42 For

Despite UVA's 4 and 10 mark in

better of late, and there have been
several contributing factors, including
the return of Lars Mikalauskas to the
lineup and the emergence of Calvin

scoring threats.

Last Weekend Nascar impounded the 99 after the :00 victory and now the sanctioning body
has levied some punishment. Edwards
has been docked a hundred championship
driver points for a missing lid from

his oil reservoir, which possibly could
have let more air in creating
downforce. That will drop edwards from
the top of the point standings to 7th.
His Car Owner Jack Roush has also been
docked a hundred Owner Points. In
addition to that, Edwards' crew chief
Bob Osbourne has been suspended for the
next 6 Cup races and placed on
probation until the end of the year.
