police chief for the city of Lynchburg.

televised game on CBS - the Hokies

the season when they suffered a loss at
the Dean dome in North Carolina.

former Hokie Dell Curry was named the
Southern Conference player of the year.
The six- three sophomore guard is
averaging 25 points a game this season
for the Davidson Wildcats.
He is in the top 10 in a number
of national statistics - fifth in
scoring, 8th in free- throw percentage
and third in three- pointers made.
Last year he was the league's
freshman of the year and Tournament
MVP.
