is scheduled to exit during the
afternoon Saturday, with slow clearing
and gusty northwesterly winds
developing. Some gusts could approach
35mph by Saturday afternoon with partly
sunny skies. Due to the heavy
downpours from Tuesday of this week,
the ground is fairly saturated, despite
having a long-term drought. We'll have
to monitor rainfall rates and amounts
Friday and Friday night, however,
flooding looks minimal at this time -
just something to keep in the back of
your mind! For the latest weather

Boston College vs. Va. Tech Boston College did a great job on :00 the Hokies' Brittany Cook. The ACC's
leading scorer hit 50 percent of her
shots tonight, but the Eagles only let
her get 8 shots. Cook scored 10 points
and topped the 1000 point mark for her
career, but the Hokies can't win when
she only gets scores 10.

In fact, they were their own
worst enemy. This Laura Haskins bucket
was one of just 6 in the first half as
the Hokies shot 25 percent in the first
20 miniutes. *CG final Boston College

57 Andrea Barbour led the Hokies Virginia Tech with 13 points and then played much 47 better in the second half - but by then
it was too late. BC beat Tech
57-to-47.

N.C. State vs. Clemson We mentioned State's loss and
Khadijah Whittington's performance.
She certainly did all she could tonight
with another double-double.

But State went ice cold shooting
27 percent in the second half and just
21 percent in the overtime as Clemson
got its first tournament win since
2003.

Sean Singletary had in mind when he

the all time Cavalier greats.

Singletary is just 25 points shy of

winning--not individual achievement
that Singletary craves most.
