GRAPHIC=UVA The Virginia Cavaliers still have

one more game in the regular season,
and that will be a special one for Sean
Singletary.

Sean's senior season has been one
to forget where the team is concerned.

But Travis Wells says despite that, no
one will soon forget Singletary.

OQ=News 7 Sports." < (END SOT) just 4 and 11 in the ACC, isn't what

Sean Singletary had in mind when he
spurned the NBA last spring to return
to Charlottesville. But the
Philadelphia native has still managed
to insure that he'll go down as one of
the all time Cavalier greats.

Singletary is just 25 points shy of
reaching 2 thousand for his career, a
feat that only 4 other Cavaliers in
history have achieved. But it's
winning--not individual achievement
that Singletary craves most.

SEAN SINGLETARY/1975 CAREER POINTS:

To do that might require a miracle run
in next week's ACC Tournament in
Charlotte--not likely, but not
impossible either. Through all the
losing Singletary has urged his
teammates to keep the faith.

SEAN:

Singletary will play his final home
game Sunday night against Maryland.

Marcus Bratton signed grant- in-
aid papers yesterday with N-A-I-A
member UVA- Wise.

Bratton starred for coach Rob
Senseney the past two years playing
wide receiver, safety and kick
returner.

He scored three TDs for the
Colonels the past couple of seasons,

Bratton says he would like to
concentrate on defense once he gets to
Wise to play for the Cavaliers at Carl
Smith Stadium.
