It's hard to tell how long this
jury will be out, but we do know they
just took a lunch break so obvisously
they have more work to do.

the jury headed back to the jury room -
to make decisions on Morva's 7 charges
in this case.
The three captial murder charges
are of course most serious.
If he's found guilty on even one
of those charges, the jury will have to
decide on penalty of either life in
prison or the death penalty.
In closing arguments yesterday
Commonwealth's Attorney Brad Finch said
the evidence was overwhelming.
Defense asked the jury to convict
Morva of second degree murder saying
prosecution did not prove
premeditation.

Eliot Spitzer is fighting for his
political life. Once named "Crusader
of
the year"... the governor gave a public
apology after federal authorities
revealed that he used a high priced
call girl....

"I must now dedicate time to regain the
faith of my family."
Now, many are calling for him to step
down.
Spitzer 's secret life has likely
ruined his political career. Spitzer
has
not been charged with any crimes, but
the former corruption busting
prosecutor has retained a large
Manhattan large firm to represent him.

Law enforcement officials say Spitzer's
involvement first surfaced last summer
when the IRS received a tip about
unusual movements of money.
IRS agents reportedly discovered cash
from the governor's account was being
channeled to an escort service, known
as Emperor's Club, VIP....and that's
when sources say a federal wiretap was
ordered.
It apparently caught the 48-year-old
father of three...arranging to meet a
high priced prostitute last month at
a Washington, D.C hotel. According to
court papers, Spitzer was known as
"client nine . " . One law
enforcement
official told CBS News the governor's
involvement was quote, "far from a one
shot deal."
And while authorities rarely prosecute
"Johns"...Spitzer could face charges
for concealing the flow of money and
for tax fraud.
As for his political future...few
believe he can weather this storm.

southern Iraq...police say at least 16
civilians were killed.
Meanwhile, the American death toll
there has also risen again.
A roadside bomb north of Baghdad
killed three U.S soldiers yesterday.

teacher's house.

into a canal, killing seven girls and
two boys.
The victims ranged in age from three
to eight..
The 19- year- old teacher,

of the children pulled on the wheel.
The vehicle had only five seats, so
some of the children were likely riding

charged with selling counterfeit I-D
cards to illegal aliens in the
Harrisonburg area.
Edwin Roberto Mendez is one of
eight people indicted by a federal
grand jury last week in an inter-state
conspiracy to produce phony documents--
including drivers licenses, social
security cards and resident alien
cards.
Such official- looking documents
are in great demand, and the indictment
points out that's created a "rather
lucrative criminal cottage industry" in
manufacturing fake I- D's.
Most of the documents were
produced in Ohio- -based on Puerto
Rican birth certificates.

The best way to prevent rabies

properly vaccinated.
A law was enacted back in July

State Police hope the extra

F- 117 Stealth Bomber next month, after
27 years of service.
An informal retirement ceremony will
take place today at Wright Patterson
Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio.
The stealth bomber is a useful weapon
in the Air Force arsenal, because it
doesn't show up on radar.
The F- 117 is being replaced by the
F- 22 Raptor.

budget.

remain, but an easy resolution is
expected.

Tyler Hansbrough as its national player
of the year.

given to Tech to be used as research
tools at the Virginia Institute for

Engineering and Research, commonly
