:00 Closing arguments wrapped up
yesterday.
Montgomery County Commonwealth's
Attorney Brad Finch told the jury to
use their common sense and asked them
for guilty verdicts on all seven
charges.
Finch called the evidence
overwhelming.
Defense attorney Tony Anderson
said the jury should find Morva guilty
of second degree murder instead of
capital murder.
Anderson said a guilty capital
murder verdict would require three
elements.
It must be willful, deliberate
and premeditated.
Anderson said prosecution did not
prove premeditation.
After the jury reaches a verdict,
Morva's case will go straight to the
penalty phase, and more witnesses are
expected to be called for that portion.

one of the dorms about two weeks ago.
From now on, the entrance doors
at each dorm will be locked around 5:00
each evening... instead of 10:00 at
night.
And students are being encouraged

It happened around seven o'clock
last night on the northbound side near
mile marker 135 in Salem.
State Police say a driver had a
diabetic attack, weaved in and out of
traffic at speeds of nearly 100 miles a
hour, and then crashed into the back of
a tractor trailer.
Firefighters had to use the jaws
of life to get the victim out.
No word on his condition.
