The company announced it has reached
a tentative agreement with the union.

have repaired some stroke damage in the
brain.
They implanted stem cells into the
affected areas, which then helped fix
broken connections.
So far, the approach has only been used
in mice, but the team hopes to test the
same thing in people within 5 years.

A new laser analyzer might be able to
help doctors detect disease by sampling
a patient's breath.
The device uses mirrors to bounce the
laser back and forth until it has
touched every molecule a patient
exhales.
This can detect minute traces that
point to various diseases, including
cancer and diabetes.

materials for medical uses, food

marketplace.
The company now has a dozen
employees, but the number should climb

CHANNEL=B And Roanoke police are still
searching for a man involved in
yesterday's shooting in the 13-hundred
block of Lafayette Boulevard. The man
entered the home around 11-45 and
allegedly tried to rob two men who were
inside painting.
He ended up shooting one of
them...20 year old Darrius B. Doctor of
Roanoke.
