CK/TITAN RADAR ANALYSIS AND MORE

<< Good evening, I'm Meteorologist
Robin Reed in the SkyTracker7 Forecast
Center. Latest models have a front
coming in from the west, moving through
the Virginias and stalling out in the
Carolinas. This would provide a few
light showers Friday afternoon, with
highs nearing 70 degrees. We're in
between systems Friday night. So look
for mainly some light drizzle and
clouds with lows in the mild 40s. High
pressure across New England will keep a
wedge of somewhat cooler air in place.
At the same time, a disturbance will
travel along the stalled out front,
bringing widespread rain to the region.
The exact track is still up in the air,
but it appears that an inch or more of
rain can be expected starting anytime
after Noon Saturday and extending into
the evening. Winds will also increase a
bit behind the front. Showers begin to
taper off during the morning. Sunday
afternoon should feature increasing

sunshine as high pressure returns.
Temperatures will cool behind the front
into the mid 50s. The start of next
week is quiet as sunshine returns along
with average highs in the upper 50s.
Looks like the next chance of showers
(after this weekend) won't arrive until
next Wednesday. Get the latest weather
forecast and radar imagery anytime on
our website, wdbj7.com. >>

Pioneers vs Bruins Blacksburg taking on Millbrook in
the evening session of the Semi-Finals
at the Seigel Center - the Bruins were
the last of three River Ridge teams to
play on Thursday.

The Bruins got off to red hot
start as Greg Keys will fill the lane
and then hit the sweet pull-up jumper
on the left side to get Blacksburg off
and running.

Now watch the Bruins play beat
the clock to end the first quarter as
Junior Brown gets the tip-in to drop
just before the horn. Blacksburg by 10
after a quarter.

The Bruins kept pushing the ball
right at Millbrook. Tyler Holmes hangs
onto the rock on this possession and

hits the nice pullup jumper from the
left wing.

Then some sweet passing as Daniel
Mitchell bounces inside to Nick English
for the easy conversion on the left
block. Blacksburg was in control most
of the game. *CG final Blacksburg

67 But Virginia Tech commitment Millbrook Erick Green would get busy as the 73 junior guard gets two of his 19 points Final in Overtime as Millbrook sends it to overtime and
wins it 73 to 67.

Eagles vs Titans The Titans showed up in mass, for
this one, evidently not many in class
today, they did their best to help
Hidden Valley get by Greensville County
in the State Semi-Final.

They would watch a Gabriel Tyler,
all 6 foot 2 of her dominated the
inside game in the early going, that
would force Titans Head Coach Mike
McGuire to make some adjustments.

He turned up the pressure and
turned the ball over to his point guard
Abby Oliver and she produced, hitting
the pull-up jumper.

Then Oliver in a giving mood, she
will feed Abby Redick who was filling
the lane on the fast-break for the easy

lay-up. . *CG final Hidden Valley

65 Oliver scored 22 points in the Greensville Co. game and the Titans will defend their 32 State Championhip on Saturday with the
