The day her godson Omarion Rose
was killed in front of his apartment.

Catrena Jennings: "It's still
puzzling. It's still puzzling of the
evidence that we heard."

The evidence points to reckless
driving on the part of Kaylie Silby.

That's according to
Commonwealth's Attorney Stephanie
Maddox.

Stephanie Maddox: "It's a very
serious charge, it's a class one
misdemeanor. It carries up to 12
months in jail and a $2,500 fine."

Some of Rose's family members say
the charges should have been more
serious.

They believe Omarion's death was
a case of hit and run.

Stephanie Maddox: "The hit and
run is not necessarily what people
think it is. There is a legal

definition of hit and run."

Tim Saunders: To make a hit and
run charge, Maddox needed to prove that
Silby knew she'd been in an accident
when it happened and that she knew
she'd hit a person. And Maddox says
the evidence doesn't show that."

Stephanie Maddox: "We looked at
other charges. We looked at
involuntary manslaughter. We also
don't have enough evidence and enough
circumstances to rise to the level of
involuntary manslaughter in this case."

Friends say Omarion's mother
isn't happy with the charges and she
wants to hear from Silby.

"She is waiting for an appology
from that family. I mean, she is
really hurting."

"That was her baby, that was her
everything.">>

<< Good evening, I'm meteorologist
Robin Reed in the SkyTracker7 Forecast
Center. WOW! What an afternoon. Highs
topped out near 70 today thanks to a
warm, southerly wind. A week
disturbance moved north of the area and
brought a few clouds and that's about

it. FRIDAY: Latest models have a front
coming in from the west, moving through
the Virginias and stalling out in the
Carolinas. This would provide a few
light showers Friday afternoon, with
highs nearing 70 degrees. FRIDAY
NIGHT: We're in between systems Friday
night. So look for mainly some light
drizzle and clouds with lows in the
mild 40s. SATURDAY: High pressure
across New England will keep a wedge of
somewhat cooler air in place. At the
same time, a disturbance will travel
along the stalled out front, bringing
widespread rain to the region. The
exact track is still up in the air, but
it appears that an inch or more of rain
can be expected starting anytime after
Noon Saturday and extending into the
evening. Winds will also increase a bit
behind the front. SUNDAY: Showers
begin to taper off during the morning.
Sunday afternoon should feature
increasing sunshine as high pressure
returns. Temperatures will cool behind
the front into the mid 50s. The start
of next week is quiet as sunshine
returns along with average highs in the
upper 50s. Looks like the next chance

of showers (after this weekend) won't
arrive until next Wednesday. For

Eagles vs Titans The Titans' students completely
packed one end of the Siegel Center to
see if the girls could get past their
semi-final opponent Greensville County.

Early on those fans got an eyeful
of 6 Foot 2 Gabriel Tyler who really
dominated the paint on both ends of the
floor. But Mike McGuire did two key
things at that point.

He slapped on the press and put

the ball in the hands of Abby Oliver.
Watch her break down the defense on the
drive and hit the pull-up jumper.

Oliver would would also feed her
teammates, she leads the break and
fires a perfect pass to streaking Abby
Redick - who gets the transition hoop. *CG final Hidden Valley

65 Oliver would just keep cranking Greensville Co. she scores a game high 22 points in 32 just 24 minutes as the Titans advance
with a 65 to 32 win over Greensville.

Bulldogs vs Titans Hidden Valley looking for revenge
against Brunswick who is once again
coached by former U-V-A Cavalier Bryant
Stith.

And the Titans came out on fire
dominating the game early much like
they did a year ago as Ben Boggs hits
the three pointer from the right
corner.

Boggs played a great first half
as he dropped in ten points. This
bucket helped the Titans lead 29 to 21
at the halftime break.

But after this Luke Hancock hoop
Hidden Valley would only get six points
in the third quarter - and much like

last year - Brunswick owned *CG final Hidden Valley the late stages of the game outscoring 49 Hidden Valley 34-to-20 in the second Brunswick half.

55 Brunswick ends the Titans' season
55 to 49.
