DESK 3-SHOT---Leo and Kim and Bob light showers Friday afternoon, with
(tease and toss to bump) highs nearing 70 degrees. We're in
Lottery-Bump between systems Friday night. So look
COMM #-1 for mainly some light drizzle and
clouds with lows in the mild 40s. High
pressure across New England will keep a
wedge of somewhat cooler air in place.
At the same time, a disturbance will
travel along the stalled out front,
bringing widespread rain to the region.
The exact track is still up in the air,
but it appears that an inch or more of
rain can be expected starting anytime
after Noon Saturday and extending into
the evening. Winds will also increase a
bit behind the front. Showers begin to
taper off during the morning. Sunday
afternoon should feature increasing
sunshine as high pressure returns.
Temperatures will cool behind the front

<< Good morning, I'm Meteorologist Leo
toss to Kim Hirsbrunner in the SkyTracker7 Forecast
Center. Latest models have a front
coming in from the west, moving through
the Virginias and stalling out in the
Carolinas. This would provide a few
light showers Friday afternoon, with
highs nearing 70 degrees. We're in
between systems Friday night. So look
for mainly some light drizzle and
clouds with lows in the mild 40s. High
pressure across New England will keep a
wedge of somewhat cooler air in place.
At the same time, a disturbance will
travel along the stalled out front,
bringing widespread rain to the region.
The exact track is still up in the air,
but it appears that an inch or more of
rain can be expected starting anytime
after Noon Saturday and extending into
the evening. Winds will also increase a
bit behind the front. Showers begin to
taper off during the morning. Sunday
afternoon should feature increasing
sunshine as high pressure returns.
Temperatures will cool behind the front

(SOT KAREN THURMAN/CHAIRWOMAN, FLORIDA
DEMOCRATIC PARTY): "LET ME BE CLEAR -
THIS IS BY NO MEANS A DONE DEAL. WE
ARE SIMPLY PUTTING ON THE TABLE THE
ONLY
SOLUTION THAT WE CAN PROVIDE."
The state party had proposed a mail-in
ballot to make sure their votes count
but it's been largely opposed, as many
fear it would be vulnerable to fraud.
(NATSOT HILLARY CLINTON January 29):
"THANK YOU FLORIDA DEMOCRATS!"
In January, Hillary Clinton WON both
Florida and Michigan ... but the
states
had been stripped up their delegates
for moving up their election dates
before the February 5th Super Tuesday
contests.
Pressure has been building to find a
way to fairly give voters a voice.
Clinton has said she wants the
original results to count, but Obama
didn't
campaign in Florida and wasn't even on
the ballot in Michigan.
(nats)
He might, however, accept a new
contest. Michigan Democrats are close
to an
agreement with the candidates to hold a
do-over primary. The contest - which
could cost more than 20-million-dollars
- would be funded by private
donations, but they still have to move
quickly. Under party rules, they need
to hold the vote by June 10.
(SOT KAREN THURMAN/CHAIRWOMAN, FLORIDA
DEMOCRATIC PARTY): "THE LONGER WE LET
THIS LINGER, IT CLEARLY BECOMES MORE
DIFFICULT."
Democrats want to resolve the issue
before the Convention in Denver.
Otherwise it could be a real mess at a
time when the party needs to show
unity and prepare for November.
(oncam)
Negotiations continue today between
both states, the candidates, and the
National Party. Michigan may have its
answer soon but the process in Florida
is moving more slowly.

Center. Latest models have a front
LEO TOSS STRAIGHT TO COMMERCIAL coming in from the west, moving through
the Virginias and stalling out in the
COMM Carolinas. This would provide a few
light showers Friday afternoon, with
highs nearing 70 degrees. We're in
between systems Friday night. So look
for mainly some light drizzle and
clouds with lows in the mild 40s. High
pressure across New England will keep a
wedge of somewhat cooler air in place.
At the same time, a disturbance will
travel along the stalled out front,
bringing widespread rain to the region.
The exact track is still up in the air,
but it appears that an inch or more of
rain can be expected starting anytime
after Noon Saturday and extending into
the evening. Winds will also increase a
bit behind the front. Showers begin to
taper off during the morning. Sunday
afternoon should feature increasing
sunshine as high pressure returns.
Temperatures will cool behind the front
into the mid 50s. The start of next
week is quiet as sunshine returns along
with average highs in the upper 50s.
Looks like the next chance of showers
(after this weekend) won't arrive until
next Wednesday. Get the latest weather
forecast and radar imagery anytime on
