Boardly.
The 25- year old Roanoke woman
was the mother of their two children.
Specific details of what happened
at the Super-8 Motel a year and a half
ago- -varied widely. Ransome said then
and he told the jury that the gun went
off by accident as he tried to unload
it.
After struggling with the case
Monday night- -the jury returned in the
morning and quickly found Ransome
guilty on all counts.
He'd already pled "no contest"
then withdrew his plea, choosing to
take his chances with a jury.
Only at the sentencing hearing,
did the jury learn Ransome had three
prior convictions.

indoor sprinkler went off.

Employees spent most of the
afternoon mopping up the water along
with fire fighters who were called in
to help.
No major damage..but the incident
