Fire crews are also battling a
brush fire in Bedford County.
It broke out this afternoon in a
wooded area off of Jitters JEETERS
Chapel Road in Stewartsville.
Firefighters believe a
stump-grinding crew working in the area
hit a rock, which caused a spark,
igniting the brush fire.
About ten acres have burned, but
no homes are in danger at this time.

part of the Blue Ridge Parkway and
hiking trails.
Both the St. Mary's Wilderness
Area and the parkway are closed from
route 56 to mile post 16 at Love Gap
because of a wild fire.
220-acres have already burned.
The fire was first reported last
night.
Firefighters say rough terrain is
making things difficult.
At this point- no homes are in
danger.
No word what caused the fire.

afternoon. And Grant Kittelson is in
Blacksburg where several key position
battles are shaping up over the next
three weeks.

Virginia Tech Uniform, the question is,
what role will Glennon play.
The Hokies offense seemed to take
off in 2-thousand 7 when a duel
quarterback system was used with both
Glennon and Tyrod Taylor. Both are
back and both want to play.
Taylor is a year older and will
be in the system for a full season, but
did have some injury issues in his
Freshman Campaign.
Frank Beamer and his coaches will
have to decide is 5 or 7 going to start
and will the other one be part of a
quarterback rotation.>>

Tech's basketball team has found
a nice rotation and would like to bring
home a championship just like the
Fooball team did. Seth Greenberg's
club will tip off in the N-I-T
quarterfinals in just about a half hour
at Cassell Coliseum.
The Hokies taking on Ole Miss
with a trip to Madison Square Garden on
the line.
This will be the 3rd straight
Home Game for Tech in the Post-Season,
something that has been a huge
advantage for the Hokies.
