are searching for someone who took
shots at cars on Interstate 64.
Authorities say at least four
cars were hit with bullets along an 11
mile stretch of the highway near
Charlottesville.
Two people have reported
injuries, but neither are life
threatening.

or what type of guns were used.

Police responded to the call in

o' clock last night.
They say two suspects entered the

brush fire in Bedford County.

don't offer in- state tuition to
students whose parents are in the
country illegally.

At issue are Virginia citizens
born to illegal immigrants.
The attorney general says
students dependent on their parents
can't be classified as "in- state"
since their parents can't establish a
legal residence.
The A-C-L-U says the state cannot
penalize children for their parents'
actions.
The group is offering legal
representation to any Virginia citizen
denied in- state tuition because of
their parents' status.

officials in Botetourt County about
campaign signs.

VO-NAT Yesterday, the county responded
in a letter to the organization.
According to the county
administrator- the county "...never
proactively enforced" the ordinance.
He says it had sent a letter
asking the parties to "voluntarily"
comply with a law that keeps candidates
and residents from having the signs up
too long *before* and *after* an
election.
The ACLU argued having a specific
time frame is unconstitutional.
The county says it plans on
repealing its current ordinance
regarding the signs.

Center. The next few days look warmer
than normal with readings in the 70s.
