SHOOTING 64 near Charlottesville.
State police and local authorities are
holding a news conference at 10 a-m.

VO-NAT State Police say they're still
searching for two suspects that shot at
random vehicles along the interstate
near Charlottesville.
Two people were injured.
Police spent most of yesterday
searching overpasses and wooded areas
for shell casings or other evidence
near the shooting scenes.
Officials believe the suspects
may still be in the area, but drivers
should not be scared of using I-64.

man was dropped after a preliminary
hearing in Blacksburg.

:00 Eugene Leftwich was arrested in
December after a fight outside of a
Blacksburg nightclub.
He was accused of second degree
murder in the death of Cory Deon
Allison of Welch, West Virginia.
Leftwich testified yesterday
saying he was badly beaten by a group
of men.
He told the judge that Allison
came back for a second attack and
that's when Leftwich stabbed him in the
abdomen and leg.
Leftwich's attorney said the
killing was in self defense, and the
judge agreed.
