Wyoming is sending up to 300
prisoners into Virginia's state prison
system.
The two year transfer deal could
generate more than 18 million dollars
for the state.
Inmates will be held at
facilities in Wise and Tazewell
Counties.
This is just one of the ways
Virginia's prison system is trying to
make money instead of closing prisons
or laying off workers.

This was how Matthew Maupin's parents
last saw their son...surrounded by five
men holding automatic rifles in a war
zone a world away.

After nearly 4 years of not knowing,
Maupin's parents now know their
22-year-old son died in captivity...his
remains found in Iraq and matched by
D-N-A tests.

you go through 4 years, almost 4 years
of hope."
They hoped that he had somehow been
spared by the men holding him after his
convoy was ambushed near Baghdad April
9th, 2004. The men had offered to
trade Maupin for Iraqi prisoners, but
U-S authorities said they would not
negotiate with terrorists. Maupin's
parents even held onto hope after this
video of Matt's supposed execution was
aired on Al Jazerra television. But
the U-S army deemed the tape
inconclusive.

So through yellow ribbons and memorial
fundraisers, the Maupin's and Clermont,
Ohio community held strong to their
belief they would see Matt once again.
Sunday, they learned, his remains will
be returned.

Center. The weekend "wedge" of clouds
and cool temperatures will continue
tonight and throughout Monday.
Temperatures remain steady tonight near
40 with light wind.
Clouds, light showers, areas of drizzle
and patchy fog tonight will continue
Monday, Monday night and Tuesday. The
big difference in the day-to-day
forecast will be a steady warming trend
as a warm front lifts to our north.
Highs Monday are expected in the upper
40s. Lows Monday night will stay
steady. Tuesday, while still dreary,
highs will rocket to near 70.
Clearing is expected Wednesday with
cooler temperatures in the upper 50s.
Another wedge will attempt to develop
Thursday and Friday, but this one
should be weaker and less impressive.
Generally, a few showers are forecast
late Thursday and Friday. With any
luck, we'll dry out in time for the
weekend.

driver Denny Hamlin has had loads of
experience racing at the Martinsville
Speedway, dating back to his late model
days. But until this afternoon's
Goody's Cool Orange 500, the
Chesterfield native was without a
Martinsville Cup win on his resume.

Yellow was a popular color most
of the afternoon. Kurt Busch and
brother Kyle bring out the early
caution flag as they tangled off of
turn four.
Then later, it's Aric Almirola
spinning Bobby Labonte on the front
stretch. Jeff Gordon and Scott Riggs
also sustained some damage.
Gordon eventually worked his
way back to the front, but was chasing
Chesterfield's Denny Hamlin as the laps
wound down. Hamlin held off the 24 car
to take the checkered flag. He led 82
of the 500 laps and went to victory
lane for the first time at Martinsville
posting Toyota's 2nd win this season.
Jeff Burton, Jimmie Johnson, and Tony
Stewart rounded out the top 5.

world's largest cupcake
The master baker used 180 eggs,
15 pounds of butter and 16 pounds of
flour.
Unfortunately, the Guinness book
