policeman's fault.

was responding to a domestic call in an
unmarked car when he crashed into Helen


Cunningham on Saturday.


Her van flipped and she had to be

increasing sunshine Wednesday with

settlement offer.


The state's proposing 100
thousand dollars and a chance to talk
to the governor and university
officials about the shootings.


The originial deadline was

sister leaves one person dead in
Halifax County.


57-year-old Carol Murray Wolfe
was found dead yesterday morning at her
home on Cherry Hill Church Road.


Her brother, 61-year-old Kenneth
Wesley Murray is charged with first
degree murder.


Investigators say Murray and
Wolfe were seen arguing shortly before
the murder happened.


Murray is being held in the Blue
Ridge Regional Jail without bond.

end up in prison for using cellphones
to send out racy pictures of a
classmate.

January The photo popped up on dozens of
cell phones back in January.


They were of a female - who's
also a student at Franklin County high
school.


Police have charged three boys
and one girl.


The charges range from
distribution of child pornography to
possession of child porn.


The maximum sentence for at least
one of those charges is 20 years in
prison.


The school declined to comment on
the situation.

have been arrested on drug charges.


An investigation by the Sheriff's
office led to 29 charges ranging from
possessing to making and selling


marijuana, cocaine, and heroin.


The Sheriff's office has set up a
special grand jury to hear drug cases
every other month in the county.
