The bear, named Claude, lives in a
zoological park in Hiroshima, and
spends hours twisting and twirling.

He's been obsessed with the sticks
ever since he arrived in the zoo six
years ago.

There was a brief period of letting
them go but he's picked up the habit
again lately.

The zoo has prepared 15 sticks for
Claude to play with. Each one weighs
about 10 pounds.
