for more than a week.

That's why Police believe SOMEONE
must be helping Steven Branscome.

believed to have "stolen" ANOTHER
vehicle.

A yellow... 19-81 Ford truck...
was reported stolen Thursday from a
tree farm... in the Indian Valley area
of Floyd County.

Police have NOT actually

connected Branscome to that
theft....but the owner of the truck
says it was found in Statesville, North
Carolina Friday.

Police believe Branscome has
received help along the way.

He's been M-I-A since last Friday
when he allegedly shot a Virginia State
Trooper.

police chase through "three"
communities...ended with no injuries.

when a car sped away from downtown
Lynchburg.

It ended near Evington where...

A woman was taken into custody.
It's unclear whether that's the same

been BANNED from campus... after police
say he tried to HURT his roommate with
a KNIFE.

Michael Tilrico (TILL-ree- COE)
.... was arrested and charged with
attempted "malicious" wounding this
week.

Shortly after...Virginia Tech
Police got a search warrant looking for
clues that... Tilrico (TILL-ree- COE)
... might attempt to harm HIMSELF,
other Virginia Tech students, faculty
or staff.

The search warrant says...Tilrico

(TILL-ree- COE) had become a loner...
had a passion for firearms... and had
been "evaluated" by mental health
professionals.

Tech Police say Tilrico
(TILL-ree- COE) is staying at his home
in Texas.

funds.

Now she's been "indicted" for
EMBEZZLING money from THREE United
Methodist Churches in Catawba.

Saturday night, moisture begins riding
up that boundary from the south. Rain
appears likely tonight, especially
after midnight. Heavy rain will be
possible, mainly east of the Blue
Ridge. Lows are slated in the low and
mid 40s.

What will the rest of the weekend look
like? Can we salvage Sunday? Some
models are suggesting most of the rain
will be gone early Sunday morning;
while others are indicating it could be
early afternoon. Finally, some drier
air should begin to punch in Sunday
afternoon, and while there will still
be clouds, the wet weather should start
pulling off to the northeast. Highs are
expected a bit cooler Sunday, in the
