Washington D-C.
Right now, the Hill City sees two
trains each day, but they run from New
York to New Orleans and arrive in the
middle of the night.
The new service would offer trips

Lynchburg's regional Chamber of
Commerce is conducting a survey to see
how many people would use the trains.

Salem.

No eyes for one and he's confined

part of the marching band at the
University of Louisville and each day

does it.
Earlier this year, Extreme
Makeover Home Edition was so touched by
this Hughes, they built him a new

pump in moisture for the next several
days. This "wedge" will mean a mostly
cloudy sky Monday through Wednesday.
Clouds, drizzle and fog are likely
during the overnight hours.
Temperatures will be on the upswing the
next few days, with highs Monday in the
mid and upper 50s, and in the 60s
Tuesday and Wednesday. Lows in the 40s.
A warm front lifting north will crank
daytime highs to the low and mid 70s
Thursday, and upper 70s by Friday!
Thursday calls for mostly cloudy skies;
partly sunny Friday with a 30% chance
of afternoon showers as a cold front
nears from West Virginia.
NEXT WEEKEND: Clouds and showers
Saturday, with clearing Saturday night
and Sunday. Getting cooler - highs near

There's also been plenty of hoops
close to home this weekend. The
Roanoke Valley Baptist Association
hosted the state organization's
basketball tournament over the last
three days.
Boys and girls ages 7 to 18, on
about 30 teams from as far away as
Richmond and South Hill, competed in
the event, which wrapped up with the
championship games today in each
division.
