Officer Daniel Meyer shot 17- year- old
Josh Brown.
The incident unfolded on Clifton
Street after the teenager ran from a
nearby traffic stop.
After reviewing the police
investigation, prosecutor Don Caldwell
said he felt there were questions of
fact that a judge or jury should
consider.

charges in the murder of a Roanoke man.

indicted Johnny Eugene Stanley for
murder.

April 2 dead in his home on Maryland Avenue
last week.
A search warrant revealed
Lawson suffered a wound to his head and
investigators said they were looking
for a hand tool or masonry tool that
may have been used in the murder.

forward and admitted he's the one who
set a string of fires at an apartment
complex last year.
Robert Andrew Lawson pled
guilty yesterday to setting three fires
at the Terrace View Apartments last
summer.
A judge ordered him to pay
more than 70-thousand dollars in
restitution, and he could spend 20
years in prison when he's sentenced in
July.

Steven Branscome is back at work.

more than a week ago after Branscome
lead police on a chase into West
Virginia.
A manhunt for Branscome followed
for a week and a half leading
authorities to Floyd County.
Branscome was finally captured in
Texas on Sunday, and Hughes said it was
a big sense of relief for him.
