The judge dropped it, saying
there was not enough evidence for the

The crash happened in February at

The cyclist is a freshman at

into him.
The student said he crashed into

from across the country - you know it's
spring. Strong storms are possible
today in the Mississippi Valley.
Tomorrow the severe threat diminishes
to our west.
Around here - it's all about the warmer
temperatures. Today, look for a blend
of sunshine and clouds with highs
popping back into the low and mid 70s.
Winds will be southeasterly at 10-15mph
this afternoon. Partly cloudy and mild
tonight. Lows in the mid and upper 50s.
Friday, southerly winds will transport
more warmth into the NEWS7 viewing
area. The week wraps up with highs in
the mid 70s with increasing clouds
during the afternoon. A stray shower is
possible Friday as a cold front
approaches from the west, but the
threat of organized showers won't
arrive until after sunset. So, Friday
night we'll call for showers and lows
near 60.
The first half of Saturday will be
cloudy with showers. Unfortunately,
we're not expecting a lot of rain with
this system. On the other hand, at
least we've gotten good rain lately.
Partial clearing is possible Saturday
afternoon. Highs will be cooler, in the
upper 60s. Lows that night will fall to
the low and mid 40s - sharply cooler!
Sunday's highs are slated in the mid
50s with clouds and a 20% chance of an
isolated shower.
Next week starts cloudy, but as the
week wears on, we'll see more sunshine.
The week will also start cool, but as
the week wears on, temperatures will
also respond nicely to the spring
sunshine! (Monday's high near 50.
Thursday's high near 70.)
THURSDAY: Partly sunny. Much warmer!
High: 74
THURSDAY NIGHT: Partly cloudy and mild.
Low: 57
FRIDAY: Increasing clouds. Warm. 76

Game in Scott Stadium.
The Game is set to get underway
at 2 o'clock.
It will be the final chance for
Fans, Coaches, and everyone else to
watch Peter Lalich, the Wahoo's
Projected Starting Quarterback.
Whether it be right or wrong, the
Q-B Position gets much of the attention
on a football Team.
Head Coach Al Groh feels the job
is unlike any other, meaning he must

GRAPHIC=MASTERS The Masters is the only one of
the 4 Majors in Golf that is played on
the same course year after year.
That tends to lead to many
familiar faces contending for Golf's
First Major over and over.
Tiger Woods already owns 4 Green
Jackets, while Phil Mickelson has put
on 2 in his career.
CHANNEL=C VO-NAT

Those 2 wins by Mickelson have
come over the last 4 years at Augusta
National.
Over that time Tiger has just 1
victory.
Lefty would like nothing put
another Green Jacket in the closet, but
his last masters win back in 2-thousand
and 6, is also his last Major Win.
But returning to Augusta to start
the season brings back many good
memories for Mickelson.
