Center. A fair weather pattern
continues to hold and temperatures are
slowly climbing. Friday will be mostly
sunny with a high near 80. The weekend
may not be looking as wet as previously
thought. A late shower is possible
Saturday, but most of the day should be
partly sunny. Temperatures will still
be warm in the low to mid 70s. Saturday
night expect a few showers, some of
which may linger into the first half of
Sunday as a front works to the east.

concerning former Hokie Branden Ore.
News 7 Sports has learned that
Ore has plans to play football again
next fall in the state of West
Virginia.

Ore will take his game to West
Liberty State College in Wheeling, West
Virginia.
The Hilltoppers are a NCAA
division two member that plays in the
West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic
Conference with the likes of Concord,
Shepherd and Glenville State. There
are 16 members in the conference.
Last year the Toppers finished
their season 8 and 3.
If his paperwork goes through and
he's admitted - Ore will be playing at
nearby Concord this coming season in a
road game on September 13th.

Porter went 93 and 85 in six seasons
with the Highlanders, leading RU to the
Big South Championship game in each of
the last two years.
Porter is a Liberty University
graduate, and a native of Capitol
Heights, Maryland, not far from Fairfax
and the GMU campus.

Heart of Virginia campaign to Roanoke
County this Saturday for a special
fundraiser from 4pm to 10 at High Point
Coffee.

Edwards has been doing his part to help
the Hokie nation heal with his music
and his efforts to rasie awareness for
mental illness.
