killed 32 people in Blacksburg last
year.

construction project that's supposed to
begin later this Spring.
Once renovation on the historic
building is done, it'll be a lot larger

kitchen and gift shop.
The Museum first built in 18-45
is located in Longwood Park.

a gust of wind blew into the lake.
The grandfather jumped in after
it but the stroller sank too fast.
Divers finally found the
two-year-old about 15 to 20 minutes
later in the 42 degree water.
The child is in critical

Heavy storms moved through North
Carolina last night damaging parts of
Cleveland, Catawba and Lincoln
counties.
Officials with the National
Weather Service have confirmed a
tornado touched down in Lincoln County.
A mobile home was destroyed when
the storm lifted it off its foundation.
There were also several reports
of hail, downed trees and power lines.

forecast near 50. A few thunderstorms
are still possible until around
midnight, mainly to the east of
Roanoke.
Our weekend disturbance continues to
slowly jog to the southeast Monday,
providing a few showers in the
afternoon. Heavy rain and storms won't
be as commonplace as they were over the
weekend, however. Skies may turn partly
sunny in the afternoon, helping highs
return to the mid 60s.
Tuesday through Thursday are forecast
partly sunny with only a slight chance
of showers. Temperatures will begin
warming from the mid 60s Tuesday, to
the mid 70 Wednesday and Thursday.
A front will increase rain chances
Friday and Saturday, with clearing by
next Sunday.
