<< Good evening, I'm meteorologist
Robin Reed in the SkyTracker7 Forecast
Center. An upper level disturbance will
continue its slow move to the
southeast, with associated clouds and
showers locked in for the night. While
it won't rain all night, showers are
certainly possible south of Interstates
81 and 77, and along and areas east of
a Lynchburg to Danville. Instead of
storms, look for more of a light rain,
and patchy drizzle through Tuesday
morning. Tuesday, the disturbance moves
offshore, but the easterly moisture
fetch off the Atlantic will keep clouds
in place for a good portion of the day.
A few light showers are possible,
mainly east of Lynchburg and Danville.
Highs will climb back into the mid 60s.
A ridge of high pressure will replace
the departing storm Wednesday and
Thursday. This should bring decreasing
shower chances and partly sunny skies.
The return of sunshine will boost highs
to the mid 70s both days. For weather

Laycock may not want Jake to
force things to happen but he has given
Phillips more options as the playbook
