gun dealer Eric Thompson will be
selling firearms at cost.

He says he wants to make it cheaper

Thompson says he wants the next news

someone who stopped a mass murderer.

And tomorrow... Thompson will
ACTUALLY be in Blacksburg to talk to

GRAPHIC=CHRIS LONG There is an interesting story

coming out of Miami tonight concerning
Chris Long - the big UVA defensive
lineman.

Dolphins' vice president Bill

Parcells was apparently right on the
verge of taking the former Cavaliers'
star with the number one pick in the
draft.

Parcells is a defensive guy and
reports out of Miami today say he gave
the other Long in the draft - Jake -
until yesterday to sign a deal, or he
was moving onto Chris.

Yesterday Jake Long, the big offensive
lineman from Michgan, and his agents
did meet that deadline and he was
formally introduced to the media
yesterday. He will get a guaranteed
$30 million over the next three years.

Some believe Parcells, the team's
vice-president for football operations
was bluffing, but whatever the case he
got his man.

OQ=News 7 Sports. << Branden Albert checks in at 6-7
(END SOT) and over 3-hundred pounds. He fits the

bill when it comes to what N-F-L Teams
are looking for in an offensive
lineman.

Albert put all his skills on
display at U-V-A's Pro Day last month.
What the Scouts saw was impressive as
Albert has moved up Draft Boards with
some projections having him go as high
as the 5th overall Pick to Kansas City.

(ALBERT BITE:)

Albert played mostly Offensive
Guard for Al Groh at U-V-A but showed
last season that he can move outside as
well, starting 2 games at Tackle last
season.

(ALBERT BITE:)

Albert could have been a total
different position at the this point in
his life. He could have returned to
School for his senior year instead of
entering the Draft.

(ALBERT BITE:)

If taken with one of the first 31
picks, Albert would be the 5th U-V-A
Offensive Lineman selected in the First
Round of the N-F-L Draft. Grant
