drive...Two people are dead after an
accident on Interestate 77...and police
say alcohol was involved.

It happened around 4:30 yesterday
near mile marker 26 in Wythe County,
that's about two miles north of Poplar
Camp.
State Police say the driver of a
subaru legacy was heading north,
crossed the median and struck a tractor
trailer southbound.
The tractor trailer then hit a
driver who was changing a tire on the
shoulder, killing him.
The driver who initially caused
the accident also died.
State Police believe he was
drunk.

drunk driving.

Lynchburg Judge John Cook to the 24th
Judicial Circuit Court, which serves
the Lynchburg area, and Bedford,

The decision was made to appoint

filled.
Roanoke area legislators were
unable to reach an agreement on who

The United Way hosted a money
management fair yesterday at Patrick
Henry Community College called Dollars
and Sense.
Volunteers gave each student a
job, a salary, a slew of everyday
expenses that come with it.

students also found out how quickly
money disappears when you have to pay
for health and car insurance,
furniture...and of course those
unexpected items that pop up.
