was shot and injured in Lynchburg.

10:30 last night at the Salem and Son

intersection of Campbell and Texas
Avenues.
Police say they are looking for
three men...one of the men was seen

found it was unattended.

Brian Harmon says the clerk was
able to nod his head, and that he
thought he had been laying there for
about ten minutes.
The clerk was taken to Lynchburg
General Hospital, but we don't know his
condition.
Police were still on the scene
this morning using dogs to search the
area.

dealer who sold shooter Seung Hui Cho
one of the guns he used in the campus
shootings, visited Virginia Tech
yesterday.

Only about fifty people showed up and
it was mainly a friendly crowd.
Eric Thompson spoke for about a half
hour and he told the crowd he was
shocked and saddened that Cho bought
one of the guns through his website.
Thompson says he came to Virginia
Tech to help people protect themselves,
and hopefully provide the tools to
prevent another tragedy.

for allegedly robbing and killing a
young mother.

20-year-old Lorenza Jones is
charged with first-degree murder in the
death of Precious Saunders.
Saunders was found stabbed to
death at her Audubon Drive apartment
Tuesday.
She leaves behind a two-year-old
son.

ears cut off.
He's being held at the Danville
City Jail.

Regional Airport.

They plan to add more than 150
students for classes on engineering and
air traffic control.
The expansion will bring more

Center. Friday starts sunny with a few
afternoon clouds as temperatures warm
back into the 70s. There's a chance of
a few afternoon showers - mainly after

The weekend should offer variably
cloudy skies and shower chances as a
cold front approaches. Don't expect a
washout, but there are certainly
chances of rain this weekend, with
Saturday looking slightly wetter than
