be looking into the cause of a deadly

house fire in Campbell County.

with their dog, when their home near
Altavista caught fire Saturday morning.

A neighbor alerted crews to the
fire on Leewood Road in the Lynch
Station Area around seven.

But by then, the fire had already

crashed into a home in Chesterfield
County, that's near Richmond.

in the house was taken to VCU Medical
Center with burn injuries.

The accident happened yesterday
around 10:30 AM - about eight miles
from the Chesterfield County airport.

The house was engulfed in flames
as debris littered the neighborhood.
