who robbed a bank in Roanoke.

But he got away with an
undetermined amount of cash.
These are surveillance
photos of the suspect-- a man in his
fifties or sixties with a white

sweatshirt, a baseball hat and black
shoes.

have been using their house to run a
major drug operation in Bedford County.

28-year-old Jason Lee Mason and
his wife, 28-year-old Joanie Leigh
Mason, are facing charges of
manufacturing and distributing
marijuana.

Investigators seized 40-thousand
dollars worth of pot from the couple's
Montvale home.
Sheriff Mike Brown says the
couple was producing two to four pounds
of marijuana per-week.
The Masons are also facing child
endangerment charges for leaving drugs
in their 2-year-old daughter's bedroom.
She's now in the custody of
social services.

Authorities say Parks went to
pick her child up from Rainbow Riders

the damage from powerful tornadoes that
touched down in Southeastern Virginia.

been abundant this month. All major
cities are reporting positive rain
totals for the April. An upper level
disturbance will push the cold front
through, then lift to the northeast
this morning. This will usher in cooler
afternoon temperatures along with a
gusty NW winds. A few morning showers
will lead to increasing sunshine as
high pressure moves in from the west.
Northwest winds will gust up to 30mph
at times. Afternoon highs will only
reach the upper 50s. Some snow flurries
are even possible in the higher
elevations. After a chilly start
Wednesday morning, a strong ridge of
high pressure will bring a return of
progressively warmer afternoon weather
from mid-week on. Highs by Friday will

coming to the site of a fatal accident.

and run driver struck and killed Tom
Farrell while he was jogging back in
January.
Residents have been complaining
for years there's too much traffic
volume and drivers go way too fast.
So, many are relieved road
improvements that should eliminate
those problems will soon get under way.

Landing is located outside of New
Castle.
It features an all-outdoor
format, meaning the kids will be
sleeping in tents and cooking over open
fires.
The trips run from one to four
weeks, and focus on developing
wilderness skills like kayaking, rock
climbing, mountain biking and team
building.

While increased milk prices
helped them for a short time -expenses
like feed, fuel and fertilizer have cut

Botetourt County farm under a
conservation easement.

the Henderson farm yesterday morning.
He says Congress is working on a
bill that will help farmers and won't
require a tax hike - he expects it to

Hirsbrunner in the SkyTracker7 Forecast
Center. April showers have definitely
been abundant this month. All major
cities are reporting positive rain
totals for the April. An upper level
disturbance will push the cold front
through, then lift to the northeast
this morning. This will usher in cooler
afternoon temperatures along with a
gusty NW winds. A few morning showers
will lead to increasing sunshine as
high pressure moves in from the west.
Northwest winds will gust up to 30mph
at times. Afternoon highs will only
reach the upper 50s. Some snow flurries
are even possible in the higher
elevations. After a chilly start
Wednesday morning, a strong ridge of
high pressure will bring a return of
progressively warmer afternoon weather
from mid-week on. Highs by Friday will
approach 80 with abundant sunshine. A
cold front will bring a chance of
showers back to the area early in the
weekend TUESDAY: Mainly cloudy. High:
59 TUESDAY NIGHT: Partly cloudy and
