to re-open this morning, one day after
a deadly shooting in the parking lot.

He is 38-year-old Bryan Stuart
Sheppard of Christiansburg.

He's currently being held in the
Roanoke County/Salem Jail, charged with
murder.

unfold here in the Food Lion parking
lot.

He had just gotten out of his truck
when he heard the shots.

Police say there was some sort of
altercation before the shooting.

police arrested a man on Route 11 on
top of Christiansburg mountain.

Witnesses say the driver of this
black jeep pulled over on the side of
the road and was standing there holding
a gun.

He was taken into custody without
incident.

Back here at the scene, investigators
spent nearly three hours processing
evidence before removing the body.

Onlookers can't believe this happened
right outside a grocery store.

has died almost a week after he was hit
while riding his bike.

at the intersection of Main Steet and
New River Drive.

Green was a Professor of
Management at R-U.

The university is planning a
memorial service.

Police are still investigating
the accident.

children in middle class homes.

Wearing nothing but
"strategically placed lettuce," the
women handed out mock-turkey sandwiches
and cards for free gas along Timberlake
Road in Lynchburg.

Their goal was to let people know

killed a Roanoke man outside a grocery
store in Salem.

He's being held at the Roanoke
County/Salem jail charged with murder.

shot multiple times.

shooting, authorities arrested Sheppard

Governor Tim Kaine says opponents
of a gas-tax increase should remember
that there's already a recent precedent
for such action by the General
Assembly.

Kaine plans to call a special
session in June to deal with the

pandering to voters when he earlier
denounced the pastor's words.

with a little work on my "facial
furniture" as she called it.

to cleaned off the stray hairs between
my eyebrows because it looked like they
were holding hands.

She also reshaped them a bit to
make me look LESS angry.

From there, she showed me the
correct way to apply concealer around

coral colored lip stick around my eyes
as well to alleviate my taupeness?

Monday; and as searches sifted through
rubble...in a stroke of luck....that

The area worst hit was Suffolk.

City leaders condemned more than
140 homes there, and many residents
aren't allowed on their property.

Governor Tim Kaine toured the
area yesterday afternoon, and spoke
with the people affected.

The National Weather Service says
an EF-1 tornado hit the town of
Virgilina (Vur-ja-line-uh) Monday
afternoon.

The storm produced winds between
86 and 109 miles-per-hour, and a cloud
240 yards wide.

Six homes were damaged, including
Mary Helen Gravitt's house.

Her son-in law was visiting when
he saw the storm coming and rushed her
to safety.

a deadly shooting in the parking lot.

unfold here in the Food Lion parking
lot.

He had just gotten out of his truck
when he heard the shots.

Police say there was some sort of
altercation before the shooting.

police arrested a man on Route 11 on
top of Christiansburg mountain.

Witnesses say the driver of this
black jeep pulled over on the side of

spent nearly three hours processing
evidence before removing the body.

Onlookers can't believe this happened

Salem Police have released the name
of a murder suspect

38 year old Brian Stuart
Sheppard of Christiansburg is being
held at the Roanoke County/Salem jail.
