OQ=PASSIONATE ABOUT IT So much so, she along with about 100
parents showed up at this public
hearing to make their case to the
school board.
They believe closing Forest Park
would hurt the community and more
importantly the three hundred students
who go there.

Park is the best location for an

Administrators say it's needed since
Roanoke's graduation rate is only about
57-percent.
However, some school board members
realize closing Forest Park is not an
easy decision.
