ANCHOR=NATASHA Virginia will not receive federal
disaster assistance to help rebuild
from a string of tornadoes that swept
through the state on Monday.
The Virginia Department of
Emergency Management says most of the
homes and businesses that were
destroyed or damaged were insured,
falling short of the threshold required
to declare a federal disaster.
The Federal Emergency Management
Agency cannot duplicate coverage
provided by private insurance
companies.
The National Weather Service now
says at least 10 tornadoes struck
Virginia on Monday.
More than 200 people were
injured, but no one was killed.

Huggins signed an 11-year
contract with the school today that
will keep him at his alma mater until
he's 65.

official today. The Hokies will play

games as they host Wiscinson. It will

have played in basketball.
