always keep his sense of

ABOUT BARACK OBAMA..."

(SOT don't font BARACK OBAMA from):

"I HAVEN'T SLEPT SINCE
OCTOBER..."..(band kicks in)...

----He shouldn't count on getting much

anytime soon.

While Hillary Clinton cuts into
Obama's once-double-digit lead in North

Carolina, it's Indiana that's shaping
up as the critical front.

(SOT HILLARY CLINTON):

" I HAVE NO DOUBT IN MY MIND WE'RE
GOING TO DO THIS..."

The state's expected to have a huge
turnout. Early voting's already on

pace

to double the record and the
candidates have 4 days to score more.

(NATSOT)

(don't font back-time from shooting
hoops BARACK OBAMA):

"WE COULD BE HERE ANOTHER COUPLE
WEEKS!"

Neither of them have that kind of time.
It's become clear no one will have

enough delegates to secure the
nomination out-right, but Obama does
have the

edge in delegates and the popular vote.

Clinton's poll numbers in both states -
as well as nationally - are climbing,

but it's the math that's a problem.

Even if she and Obama split the
delegates up for grabs in the remaining
9

primaries, she needs to convince
80-percent of the SUPER-delegates to go
her

way.

(SOT)

JOE ANDREW/SUPER-DELEGATE, FORMER DNC
CHAIR): "I AM CHANGING MY SUPPORT FROM

SENATOR CLINTON TO SENATOR OBAMA."

And that tough task got tougher
yesterday with the defection of a
long-time

supporter. With what he called a heavy
heart, super-delegate Joe Andrew

changed his mind...and urged others to
do the same.

(SOT)

JOE ANDREW/SUPER-DELEGATE, FORMER DNC
CHAIR 102127); "SUPER-DELEGATES SHOULD

NOT WAIT. THEY SHOULD MAKE THEIR
CHOICE, THEY SHOULD MAKE THEIR CHOICE

KNOWN, AND WE SHOULD UNIFY BEHIND A
CANDIDATE AND THAT CANDIDATE OUGHT TO
BE

BARACK OBAMA."

(oncam)

With the clock ticking, both campaigns
are expected to push hard for the

super-delegates on their side to
publicly declare their
support....hoping

that might pull a few more into the
tent.

At Virginia Tech.....the
Department of Building Construction has
a brand new home.

The university held a grand

opening for the new Bishop-Favrao Hall
yesterday.

Every floor of the building is
set up so students have an open,
central space to work and study with
faculty nearby.

The building cost more than 9
million dollars.

A big chunk came from Richard
Bishop of Florida, a building
construction alumnus.

It was also state funded.

SKY1 << Good morning, I'm meteorologist Leo LEO TOSS STRAIGHT TO COMMERCIAL Hirsbrunner in the SkyTracker7 Forecast
Center. After a mild start this COMM morning, highs climb to the lower 80s
Friday afternoon with mostly sunny
skies. While Friday will be dry, we'll
be watching a cold front in the
Mississippi River Valley that will

attempt to bring us showers over the
weekend. Friday night skies will be
partly cloudy with lows in the mid and
upper 50s. For the most part, Saturday
looks partly sunny, with only a chance
of an isolated shower in the afternoon.
Highs are slated near 80. There's a
better chance of scattered showers
Saturday night with lows in the mid
50s. The front will be sluggish moving
east, so Sunday looks mostly cloudy
with scattered showers - not an all day
rain, however. Afternoon highs should
manage the mid 70s. Next week, we have
variably cloudy conditions forecast
Monday through Wednesday with a 20%
chance of showers each day. Right now,
highs look to be around 70 with lows in
the upper 40s. FRIDAY: Partly sunny and
warm. High: 83 For weather anytime
