are raising their tuition rates
starting in the fall.

create an overage academy there for

to rescue two mannequins trapped on the
Mill Mountain Star.

say the practice is still valuable.

Center. Look for a partly cloudy and
cool night, with lows in the upper 40s.
The warming trend continues Tuesday
and Wednesday, as a weak high pressure
system replaces the departing storm to
our south. We'll notice increasing
sunshine and afternoon highs in the
upper 70s. The high will hold tight
until Thursday. That's when our next
area of low pressure will move in from
the southwest, providing a good chance
of showers and afternoon storms both
Thursday and Friday afternoon. Since
we'll be in the warm sector of the
front, highs will be balmy, with low
80s likely. A brief period of sunshine
returns Saturday with highs in the
upper 60s. A second disturbance will
bring a return of a few showers on

forgiveness after stealing a 400 pound
piano from a church.

Vinton police say a digital piano
was taken from inside Thrasher Memorial
United Methodist Church two weeks ago
and it's still missing.
It's light colored oak,
about 4 feet five inches in
height....the matching piano bench and
the steel rack the piano was sitting on
were also stolen.

NO SUPER was fired after making a toothpick
disappear, then reappear in front of a
middle-school classroom.
Administrators say there were
other problems with his job
performance, but his "wizardry" was the
biggest issue.
Piculas says he's concerned the
incident may prevent him from getting
future jobs.

tonight there was proof of that at
Bogle Field in Southwest Roanoke County
as 150 youngsters and teenagers took
part in a rare spring clinic.

high school hosted the evening called
"Knights under the Lights" on the turf
field just off of Route 221.
Players ages six years old
through 12th graders in high school got
to work with high school coaches both
present and past like Ben Foutz and Tim
Fulton along with former Friday
Football Extra stars like Michael
Hamlar, who played at Wake Forest.
The three day clinic continues
through Thursday with visits from the
Ferrum coaching staff and former
Fleming boss and Dan Henning disciple
John McGregor.
The Edge Sports Performance
center is also helping with the event.

who was arrested over the weekend...

Michael Boley of the Atlanta
Falcons faces a battery charge for
allegedly getting physical with his
wife.
The 25-year-old was released on
bond.
A Falcons spokesperson says the
team is aware of the arrest but did not
comment further.

Cedric Benson was arrested in
Texas Saturday for driving a boat while
intoxicated.
