<< Good morning, I'm meteorologist Leo
Hirsbrunner in the SkyTracker7 Forecast
Center. A cold front pressing toward
the area will attempt to provide
occasional showers today. Rain chances
are slated at 50%. The heaviest rain
will stay to our south. Locations in

Alabama and Georgia may get 1.00-2.00"
of rain. That area still needs lots of
rain! According to the latest U.S.
Drought Monitor report, our area is
listed in a moderate drought to
abnormally dry situation. Highs should
hit the low 70s Thursday, a few degrees
below normal for this time of the year.
Rain looks likely for your Friday
morning commute, before partial
clearing in the afternoon. After
morning lows near 60, expect highs near
70. Winds will gust around 20mph from
the south. Expect partly sunny skies
this weekend with only a few light
showers threatening outdoor plans;
primarily on Sunday as another front
makes progress across Virginia. Highs
near 70 this weekend. Lows near 50. For
the latest weather anytime, turn to our
webpage at wdbj7.com >>
