the pain for thousands now destitute.
Soldiers are removing the dead as
quickly as possible to prevent the
spread of bacteria and working to make

cities....survivors flock to makeshift

So many volunteers have shown up at
this aid center that they've had to
come
up with a really easy way to identify
themselves using a piece of rag that's
been tied into an armband.
(Natz)
International aid is arriving...but
Beijing is appealing for
more...especially
rescue equipment, tents, food and
medicine. Some supplies are coming
from
neighboring Taiwan. The two
governments are usually rivals, but
Taiwan's
incoming president sees this as a good
opportunity to improve relations and
help thousands in need.
