charged an Altavista man with capital
murder and robbery.


Court records show 21-year-old
Alphonso Lamont Destin was arrested at
9:53 Wednesday night.

Campbell County Sheriff's office
announced an arrest in the murder of
Wilber West of Lynch Station.


Deputies said he was arrested around
10:00 p.m.


The sheriff's office said it would
release more information this
afternoon.

starting to look into a deadly commuter
train collision near Boston.

night, when Edmonds' train rear- ended
another train.


Both trains were packed with

losing one of their own.

January 16 The husband of newlywed pop singer
Ashlee Simpson has confirmed his wife
is pregnant.


Pete Wentz wrote in his blog that
the couple wanted to wait until after
the first trimester to confirm the
pregnancy.


No word yet on when the baby's due.


Simpson, who's 23, married the 28-
year- old bassist for the group Fall
Out Boy earlier this month.
