store and a body found in a
home...Police in the Roanoke Valley say
the two incidents may be related.

night.

According to Police, a man was
shot in the parking lot of the Food
Lion in the 2600 block of Peters Creek
Road.

Authorities aren't releasing the
victim's name until they speak with his
family, but say he was transported to
Carillion Roanoke Memorial for
treatment.

Later on in the night, police
were attempting to locate a person of
interest in the shooting at a home in
the 2600 block of Parkview Drive in
Roanoke County.

Once on the scene, offficers
found a body inside the home.

That's all the information police
are releasing at this time, but we're
expecting to learn more about the two
incidents later this morning.

people were shot in what police are
calling a drive-by shooting.

Officials say around 7 o' clock,
they got a call of shots fired on the
600 block of Warsham Street.

When they arrived, a man fled on
foot and dropped a semi-automatic
rifle.

Later, at around 11:30, they say
a drive-by occured in the same area.

Three people were taken to the
hospital with minor injuries and have
been released.

Police have arrested and charged
20 year old Thomas Lee Waller in the
crime, but they are still looking for
other people who were in the car.

looking for two robbery suspects.

It happened last night at the Los
Amigos Latina Store on Lakeside Drive.

One of the men allegedly fired a
round of bullets inside the store,
barely missing the clerk.

Some cash and checks were stolen.

of a proposed intermodal rail facility
in Elliston.

in Blacksburg. The break is affecting a
three mile stretch of the road from the

Seventy classic cars were on
display yesterday.

Some dating back to the 1920's.

The owner of Pet City in Roanoke
started the show as a fundraiser in
1995 to raise money for the SPCA.

He decided to bring it back
