(END SOT) Hillary's Clinton's bid to be the

nation's first female President will
likely

end tonight. With a combination of
pledged delegates from today's
primaries

and new commitments from super
delegates...Barack Obama is expected to
reach

the magic number of 2118 needed to

secure the nomination.

But whether Clinton will concede
remains unclear. The Associated Press
is

reporting she will acknowledge that
Obama has enough delegates to clinch,
but

her campaign issued a statement
...(graphic) saying Senator Clinton
will not

concede this evening.

It may sound like a play on words, but
the bottom line is that Obama is the on

brink of capturing the coveted prize.

(Teri Okita Standup Bridge/St. Paul,
MN)

Barack Obama chose to celebrate
tonight... at the place where the
republicans

will gather this summer to officially
nominate John McCain. But before the

GOP gets to town... Obama plans to
party here at the Xcel Energy Center in

Saint Paul, Minnesota.

(nats voting)

Word of Clinton's possible concession
is overshadowing the last day of
primary

voting. The polls are open in Montana
and South Dakota with a total of 31

delegates up for grabs. At least one
Clinton supporter is not ready to give

up.

Sot: Gita Hendricks/Clinton Supporter

"The more people who vote for her
today, more likely she stays in the
race and

I hope she does."

But with a growing sense of
inevitability... a number of Clinton
delegates

find themselves in a tricky situation.
Many have been claiming for months

that Obama is not the right man for
the job...and soon for the sake of
party

unity...they'll have to switch gears.

<< Good evening, I'm meteorologist

Brent Watts in the SkyTracker7 Forecast
Center. Several waves of storms are
coming in from the west this evening.
Many of these have a history of
producing strong winds, hail and heavy
downpours in West Virginia. Several
will make it over the mountains with
the best chances in the western

counties, and lesser in the east as the
storms weaken. Wednesday, the cold
front passes to the south with another
wave of storms riding along it. This
provides the best chance of showers and
storms during the afternoon. Highs will
gradually warm to the mid and upper 80s
to near 90 Wednesday. Thursday, the
warm front will move to the north, with
extremely warm and muggy afternoon
temperatures. Highs will reach the low
to mid 90s on Thursday and Friday. A
ridge of high pressure will strengthen
by the weekend. This should allow

NBC In the first two games of the
series, Pittsburgh couldn't even score
a goal, but last night in game five
they scored the first two of the game
in the first period.

The Pens complimented their
offense with some solid defense. Watch
goalie Marc Andre Fleury make the toe
save with his left foot to preserve the
lead. He stopped 55 shots on the
night.

The Red Wings would finally get
on the board in the second at the 2:54
mark as Mark Helm ricochets one off of
a Pens' defender and eventually through
Fleury's legs to make it 2-to-1 game.

Then on a power play opportunity

in the third - Fleury got another tough
luck deflection to go right between his
legs from the other side as Pavel
Datsyuk was able to sneak one in the
net to make it 2-all.

The Red Wings would get another
one and lead 3-to-2 with under a minute
to play when Pittsburgh pulled the
goalie and got even. Max Talbot scores
with 35 seconds left to send it to *CG final Pittsburgh overtime tied at 3-all and it stayed 4 that way for quite awhile.

Detroit It took three 15 minute overtime 3 periods to finally settle Game Five as FINAL IN 3 OVERTIMES the Penguins got a goal from Petr
Sykora to win it 4-to-3. Detroit still
leads the series 3 games to 2, game six
is tomorrow night in Pittsburgh.

:00 While the Penguins and Red Wings
are still searching for a championship,

today the Kansas Jayhawks basketball
team was honored for theirs at the
White House.

President Bush accepted a hat, a
jersey and a ball from the team during
a Rose Garden ceremony, before taking
them on a tour of the Oval Office.

The President acknowledged the
Jayhawks season in which they won their
first 20 games, including a win over
his alma mater Yale. They beat his 2nd
favorite team in the Texas Longhorns as
well. Coach Bill Self and the team
also visited injured troops at the
Walter Reed Army Medical Center.

Since 2006, a man who calls
himself "Lee the Horse Logger" has
made his way across the country by
covered wagon, along with his trusty
companions Max, Fey, and Tom.

So far, he's journeyed from the
Great Plains to the East Coast.

He sells t-shirts to help pay his
expenses and even has his own website.

Lee says he decided to take the
trip because "life is short and and you
have to see where it takes you."
