o'clock last night bring heavy rain and
wind.

Mike Hess shot this video - about
30 second worth - of what appears to be
a funnel cloud.

Large trees were brought down, in
some cases taking powerlines with them.

Near Virginia Western Community
College, Linda Stephens' home on
Bluefield Avenue had a tree come down
on the roof.

At least three tornadoes have been
reported in Indiana.

And storms rolling through central
and southern Ohio dropped up to three
inches of rain.

Kansas say they'll have to let a fire
at a petroleum storage site burn itself
out.

The fire started last night at a fuel
and petroleum facility in Kansas City.

Witnesses say lightning struck the
tank and caused it to erupt in flames.

No injuries have been reported.

A teenager who stood up to his
friends is now working with police in
Danville in a robbery and assault case.

Authorities say four teenage boys
approached a woman last night on
Jefferson Street demanding money.

Three of them attacked her, took some
cash and fled.

A fourth juvenile refused to take
part, and is cooperating with
authorities in the investigation.

Police say the suspects are between
the ages of 15 and 16...weighing
between 130 and 140 pounds.

dead outside a community center two
weeks ago killed himself.

Harold Emmanuele Harris was
found on the ground behind the College
Hill Recreation Center May 19th.

Police say their
investigation and the state medical
examiner conclude Harris died of a

at a petroleum storage site burn itself

The fire started last night at a fuel

friends is now working with police in
Danville in a robbery and assault case.

Authorities say four teenage boys
approached a woman last night on
Jefferson Street demanding money.

Three of them attacked her, took some

Police say the suspects are between
the ages of 15 and 16...weighing

a motorcycle, the Wildfire sells for
less than six thousand dollars. It can
carry 550 pounds and two passengers,
and has a 17 horsepower engine that
gets more than 70 miles to the gallon.

short trips around town, it may be hard

killed in Charlottesville in what
police are calling a botched robbery.

Police say a neighbor, 27- year- old
Waverly "Eddie" Whitlock surrendered,

suspected of stabbing another teen to
death.

Roanoke Police say
19-year-old William Christopher Linn
was stabbed around 11:30 Monday night
on Baldwin Avenue.

He died at the hospital.

Police arrested the
16-year-old yesterday.

Her name is not being released
because of her age.

Investigators say she and
Linn knew each other.
