LEO IN CHROMAKEY
WxBug

Center. Staying muggy and
uncomfortable. Our current ridge of
high pressure keeps highs parked well
in the 90s Monday. There's a chance of
setting new record highs. Skies will be
mostly to partly sunny as we start the
new week. Humidity remains high. Storms
remain few and far between.
Tuesday is the last day of excessive
heat. Highs are forecast in the lower
90s with partly sunny skies and a
slight storm chance.
Wednesday through Friday look for
partly sunny skies with afternoon high
temperatures closer to average in the
low to mid 80s. With a cool front near
the area, occasional showers are
possible through the period.
Records to beat in Roanoke Monday: 98
in 1933.
MONDAY: Sun and clouds. Very hot. High:
98
