Three states in the Midwest have been
declared disaster areas after violent
storms caused flooding. And more could
be on the way.

Thousands are pumping out their

was a
weekend of worry after torrential rains
caused flash floods and forced

Here in the northeast...it is flat out
sweltering. Temperatures will be
nudging 100 degrees and many New
Yorkers just are not ready for it to
get so
hot - so fast.
With humidity, the heat index could hit
105.

The heat wave stretches from southern
New England....down to the Carolinas.

the possibility of severe thunderstorms

So far, the handlers haven't been
able to get close enough to determine
the sex of the cubs.
The births will help boost the
population of Sumatran tigers in
captivity.
There are only about 400 of them
left in the wild because of poaching
and loss of their natural habitat.
