courtroom....as a jury's recommendation
was upheld by a judge.

VO-NAT 26 year-old William Morva will

die for killing two law enforcement
officers.

In March, a jury found him guilty
of killing Montgomery County Sheriff's
deputy Eric Sutphin and hospital
security officer Derrick McFarland, as
he fled from custody at Montgomery
Regional Hospital.

Morva lead police on a 37- hour
manhunt that terrorized the Virginia
Tech campus.

hoping you can help them solve a murder
case.

VO-NAT The sheriff's office is looking

for suspects including this man -
Maurice Pritchett of Martinsville.

connected to the shooting deaths of
three men in the Ridgecrest Trailer
Park in Collinsville.

Investigators say two of the men
were found dead, the other was taken to
the hospital where he later died.

The sheriff's office believes one
of the suspects may be injured after
going through a window in the trailer.

Investigators eventually tracked
a suspicious SUV to a nearby
neighborhood- it was found abandoned,
but they believe Pritchett was in that
vehicle.

bridge near Snowden.

Police identify the man as Travis
Campbell Farren from Montvale.

Forestry officials say jumping
from the bridge is a popular activity,
but rocks and a nearby dam make it

There's no rule to stop swimmers
from jumping here, but rangers say they
may consider the idea.

The river isn't expected to reach its
high water point until Thursday or
Friday in some places.

California.

firefighters.

opportunities to eat.

The situation has prompted
California's leader to plead for more

Ben Bernanke and the Federal Reserve
have a choice to make.

On the one hand, they've got an economy
stuck in neutral due largely to the

sub prime mortgage mess, and on the
other hand, inflation has become a
major

threat.

While in the past cutting rates to pump
up housing was practically a given,

doing it now could push inflation out
of control.

It's a vicious cycle - any decisive
action the Fed takes to help housing
will

only fuel inflation. And RAISING rates
to cut inflation will just hurt

housing. In the end, the Fed will
likely make no big moves and try to
ride it

out the rest of the year.

JUST UNBELIEVABLE - IT'S UNBEARABLE

FOR THE DRIVERS OUT THERE!"

The signs of inflation are
everywhere...but they're most obvious
at the pump.

Oil costs dollars and when inflation's
up and the dollar's weak, it takes

more of them to buy the same barrel of
crude. Most analysts blame a glut of

speculation by investors whose only
intention is to trade oil...not
actually

own it.

be that most precious of

while Asian markets worried about the
American economy are at some

Morva spoke for about three minutes.

Just before that his attorney

victim's widows - Cindy McFarland spoke
up in open court and told Morva he
deserved to quote "burn in hell."

She was escorted out of the
courtroom for a bit.

Morva went on saying some bizarre
things like his name not William Morva
but Nemo.

Morva's mother cried as he said
there would be others like him that
would wipe the smiles off everyone's
faces.

Ultimately, Judge Ray Grubbs
upheld the jury's recommendation of
death calling Morva's actions selfish.

for the public's help in a murder case.

for suspects including this man -
Maurice Pritchett of Martinsville.

connected to the shooting deaths of
three men in the Ridgecrest Trailer

Park in Collinsville.

Investigators say two of the men
were found dead, the other taken to the
hospital where he later died.

The sheriff's office believes one
of the suspects may be injured after
going through a window in the trailer.

Investigators eventually tracked
a suspicious SUV to a nearby
neighborhood- it was found abandoned,
but they believe Pritchett was in that
vehicle.

Forestry officials say jumping
from the bridge is a popular activity,

There's no rule to stop swimmers
from jumping here, but rangers say they
may consider the idea.

In March, a jury found him guilty
of killing Montgomery County Sheriff's
deputy Eric Sutphin and hospital
security officer Derrick McFarland as
he fled from custody at Montgomery

Morva lead police on a 37- hour
manhunt that terrorized the Virginia
Tech campus.

case.

for suspects including this man -
Maurice Pritchett of Martinsville.

connected to the shooting deaths of
three men in the Ridgecrest Trailer
Park in Collinsville.

Investigators say two of the men
were found dead, the other taken to the
hospital where he later died.

The sheriff's office believes one

of the suspects may be injured after
going through a window in the trailer.

Investigators eventually tracked
a suspicious SUV to a nearby
neighborhood- it was found abandoned,
but they believe Pritchett was in that
vehicle.

bridge near Snowden.

Police identify the man as Travis
Campbell Farren from Montvale.

Forestry officials say jumping
from the bridge is a popular activity,

There's no rule to stop swimmers
from jumping here, but rangers say they
may consider the idea.

Transportation Session yesterday.

plan before a joint session of the
legislature.

He's calling for an one- percent
increase in the tax on vehicle sales
along with a ten- dollar increase in
vehicle registration fees.

The governor called on lawmakers
to put politics aside and take action.

representatives stood in support of his
plan.

including a bus- load from the Roanoke

be put to death for his crimes...but
not before the court heard from him.

Morva spoke yesterday for about three
minutes.

He's scheduled to be executed in
October for killing a security officer
and a Montgomery County Sheriff's
deputy.

Park in Collinsville.
