Yesterday The defense tried to portray
it as a circumstantial case.
Killingsworth's attorneys pointed out
the fact that there's no DNA evidence,
no gunshot residue, no fingerprints.
The prosecution responds--
none of that was necessary. They had
the eyewitness testimony of two men who
were in the store when the fatal shot
was fired.
If the jury concludes
Killingsworth murdered Zaid Amajali
during an attempted robbery, it could
find the 40-year-old Florida man guilty
of capital murder and ultimately decide
he should be put to death.

<< Good afternoon, I'm meteorologist
Leo Hirsbrunner in the SkyTracker7
Forecast Center. The same high
pressure that brought sunshine
yesterday with pleasant conditions,
will make a move off the coast today.
This will bring in warm, southerly
winds with highs topping out near 92 by
the afternoon. You may notice a bit
more humidityas well. The generally
rain-deprived pattern will stick with
us until the weekend. Look for only
slight (20%) storm chances Thursday and
Friday, with better scattered storm
chances Saturday and Sunday (40%).
Highs each afternoon will range in the
mid and upper 80s to near 90 degrees.
An upper level system will linger in
the Great Lakes over the weekend. This
will produce several waves of
disturbances that will push storms
through Saturday and Sunday. The timing
of these is still "up in the air."
However, if you're trying to make some
outdoor plans or out on the lake, you
may want to have a shelter nearby. For
