an accident on the interstate in Wythe
County.

It happened last night on
Interstate 77. Sections of the road
were closed as crews worked the scene.

All lanes have now re-opened.

killer Reginald Killingsworth to 18
years in prison for attempted robbery
and use of a firearm.

Now they face the much more
difficult life and death decision, when
they settle on a sentence for the
murder of Zaid Almajali.

The prosecution presented proof
of Killingsworth's prior convictions-
-eight of them over the last 20 years.

Both sides presented family
members of the killer and his victim.

The jury returns today to hear
more evidence and will spend this
evening deliberating Killingsworth's
fate.

VO-NAT Four suspects in a Henry County

triple murder will not face the death
penalty.

This week - Maurice Prichett,
Jordon Stockton, 17-year-old Carl
Turner and another 17-year-old were
arrested in connection to a Monday
morning murder.

*CG locator Collinsville At first, the four were charged Monday with capital murder for the murders of
three men in the Ridgecrest Trailer
park in Collinsville.

That charge has now been
downgraded.

The Henry County Commonwealth's
Attorney says - none of the suspects is
eligible for the death penalty.

He says under state law, you have
to be the triggerman and OVER 18.

accused of killing Ivory Law at the
White Rock playground on April 12th.

Alfred Dowe's resignation earlier this

landmark case on the Second Amendment.

The case came about after someone

help in capturing one of Danville's
Most Wanted."

Danville Lt. Mike Mondul narrates
a 90 second video that recreates an
April Murder at White Rock Playground.

Lt. Mike Mondul/Danville Police
Department: "It's an initiative we came
up with to try and get the information
out to the public and help solve
crimes."

Mondul joined forces with the
city's TV producer, Mark Aron - to
bring his idea to life with details
from the murder.

Mark Aron/Danville Multimedia
Design Manager: "They give me that
information, supply me with the actors,
and let me know what information they
want to get out to you all and to the
public."

The actors are local high school
students.

You can see their talent in the
finished product.

"Two males were shooting dice
under the shelter at White Rock
Playground. Kavion Bennett and another
male approached the two subjects and
Bennett began playing. Shortly

thereafter, Bennett reportedly drew his
weapon and began firing at two subjects
who attempted to flee. (bang bang)"

The video is now on YouTube.
Soon, it will air on local cable
networks and the city's government
access channel.

Mondul: "When you see a
reenactment or action, it comes
together for some people that might say
'hey! I know something about that case'
and call us."

Mondul has no plans to stop with
this video.

He's hoping to make these
reenactments a monthly project.

Mondul: "Hope to generate some
energy to solve more crimes and catch
more bad guys."

growing number of unsolved crimes.

in Henry County will not face the death
penalty.

Jordon Stockton, 17-year-old Carl
Turner and another 17-year-old were
arrested in connection to a Monday
morning murder.

three men in the Ridgecrest Trailer
park in Collinsville.

That charge has now been
downgraded.

The Henry County Commonwealth's
Attorney says - none of the suspects is
eligible for the death penalty.

He says under state law, you have

The review indicates that
spending by other council members was

Some highlights for the students
included removing a brain tumor, doing
a minimally invasive stomach operation,
and performing a colonoscopy.

17 students from area middle schools
are taking part in the week-long camp.

CHANNEL=A Police are investigating an early

morning shooting in the Northwest
Roanoke.

They say it happened around 12-
30 in the 26- hundred block of
Lynchburg Salem Turnpike.

There's no word on the extent of
any injuries.

CHANNEL=B Roanoke jurors sentenced

convicted killer Reginald Killingsworth
to 18 years in prison for attempted
robbery and use of a firearm.

The jury will meet again today to
determine if he should receive the
death penalty.

murder in Henry County will not face
the death penalty.

The Henry County Commonwealth's
Attorney says - none of four the
suspects is eligible for the death
penalty.

He says under state law, you have
