are related to the company' s "Do it

By moving some positions to
Minneapolis, the company says it will
be able to draw talent from other major

The changes will not affect
employment at local stores, and a
company spokesperson stresses that the
Store Support Center will remain in
Roanoke.
Advance is the only Fortune 500
company based in the Roanoke Valley.

The cars are available. Hopefully the
General Assembly will take the
opportunity through the transportation
initiatives to make this a reality."
How much would the service cost?
That's still being decided, but a
one-way ticket on the current train
costs about 38 dollars.
Some say, no matter how much
it'll cost, it's still better than
driving.

devastated by one of the world's worst

Duane Zook: "Often times, these

Zook works for an organization

teaming up with Appomattox County's

supplies from central Virginia to the
people hit hardest by the cyclone.
"If you look at just the amount

"They were just so grateful for
what we were doing."
How grateful? This woman offered
to give Zook one of her children as a
thank you.
"She had them, that's all she
had, she lost everything else and our
team assessed that, they provided her
with some infant formula and some food

Zook also spent time rebuilding

"There's still, even six weeks
