Center. Warm, humid air will remain in
place in advance of a cold front set to
arrive later in the week. Look for
highs in the mid 80s, and muggy too!
Looks like the best storm coverage will
be Wednesday afternoon and evening as
the cold front approaches. Some may be
strong to severe. Thursday, the front
passes through leading to another
afternoon of scattered storms. Highs
will reach the mid 80s. Drier northwest
winds will follow the cold front
passage Friday, providing a pleasant
end to the week and into the upcoming
weekend. Along with the temperatures,
dew points will also be low. The end
result? A mainly sunny and comfortable
weekend! It's been nearly a month since
we've had a shower-free weekend across
this part of the state. WEDNESDAY: 60%

Monoxide detector went off at her
apartment on Garst Mill Road.

The gas water heater had leaked

An audit documented the
spending.

Dowe resigned from the Council

rotted here in Roanoke is getting a
second chance in Ohio.

For decades- this steam
locomotive has sat in a scrap yard off
of Jefferson Street.

Two cranes were brought in and
put on each side of the 175-thousand
pound train.

Eventually, the engine was
raised, pivoted and placed on a
trailer.

Even though things didn't really
progress until after lunch- people
gathered at the scrap yard and along
the Jefferson Street bridge from the
mid-morning to get a better view.
